Some cool juniper bonsai care images:

It’s Spring, when most of the substantial work on bonsai is performed. This is a little juniper that was given to me when I asked the owners to adopt some of the driveway junipers they were digging up. They told me, "oh, we have a little bonsai that we’ve had for years, but we’re tired of caring for it." At the time, it was about 8 inches tall and 14" wide. Now it’s 4.75" from the tip of the cascade to the top of the deadwood. about the same from side to side.
I love Spring!
To see it with another object for perspective, look here.

Ah so! Project 365(3) Day 44

I can’t help but admire these miniature trees.
I’ve tried to grow bonsai myself and left a juniper in the UK that was coming on nicely.
They do require a lot of care and patience to get them to the standard of these specimens from the Torrevieja Bonsai Society.
