Simple do it your-self, wooden bonsai pot. Preferably for sphagnum moss as medium.
IN THIS VIDEO I SHOW YOU THE COLLECTION OF MOSS, AND HOW TO APPLY IT TO A SPHAGNUM MOSS SURFACE TO FINISH UP YOUR TREES. I HAVE PROBLEMS HERE BECAUSE OF THE SQUIRRELS DIGGING UP MY PLANTS, SO I RARELY USE IT LATELY, BUT I DO LIKE THE LOOKS AND I MAY START USING IT AGAIN. GRAVEL IS REALLY LOOKED DOWN UPON BY MANY PEOPLE WITH THEIR NOSES UP IN THE AIR. BUT THERE IS A USE FOR GRAVEL, OTHER THAN IT’S ORNIMENTAL VALUE. I AM TRYING TO USE IT TO STOP THE SQUIRRELS FROM BURROWING INTO MY PLANTS. I HAD USED IT LAST WEEK ON A LONG LEAF FICUS BECAUSE THE SQUIRRELS HAD DUG UP MY TREE AND THROWN IT OUT OF THE POT TWICE IN ONE WEEK. SO FAR THE GRAVEL IS DOING IS JOB, AS SHOWN IN THE VIDEO. THE PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED AND PROCESS OF USING GRAVEL IS SHOWN HERE. I HAD TO CUT THE VIDEO SHORT BY A FEW SECONDS AS YOU TUBE ONLY ALLOWS 10 MINUTE CLIPS. SO YOU MISSED ME SAYING “HAVE FUN WITH YOUR BONSAI!” (AND THAT’S WHAT YOU SHOULD BE DOING).(***PLEASE VIEW PART 12 ABOUT THE WARNING ON HANDLING SPHAGNUM MOSS BEFORE YOU WORK WITH SPHAGNUM MOSS***).
