We cut the smaller branch of our Scots Pine for an aesthetic reason. Here we show how to apply a protective, healing balm where the branch was cut. This little tree we found at a nursery and decided that we could train it as a bonsai. We were drawn to its beautiful, silvery new needles at the branches’ ends. Of all the photos that we have seen of Scots pine, ours looks very unique right now because of these silvery blue tips.
