In this video I talk about the basics of reducing leaf size (reducing leaves) on a bonsai. I try to explain the structure of a tree and how through the use of fertilizer and proper lighting you can shorten internodes, and increase branch ramification. This is important for developing dense branches and avoiding leggy branches.
