This little Acer campestre came from Kaizen in August 2009.
I bought it for the elegance in the trunkline, and the general lightness overall. We can often get hung up on thick, gnarly trunks and I think we sometimes forget that there can be elegance and beauty in a slender trunk.
The pot was very small for the tree, and not really suited to the style. But from a seller’s point of view, you don’t want to put a £50 starter tree in an expensive £60 pot
