Here’s a before and after of a kingsville boxwood bonsai at the Shanti Bithi bonsai nursery in Stamford, CT. The after image is the result of about 3 to 3.5 hours of pruning and trimming. Note the angle change that will be finalized at repotting next spring (when it will be placed in a shallower pot too). The before photo is here.
It’s all I can do to stop myself from doing another hours worth of detail work. Did I mention how much fun it is to do this work?
